Here is an Egg dip appetizer that is fun to eat. Serve with thick chips or crackers.
Warning - This is Not On Your Weight Loss Diet Program!
This appetizer has been in the family for over 50 years and has always been a favorite of our nephew Nicholas.
His grandmother would not put the dip out until Nicholas had arrived for all family social events. In fact, anyone other than his grandmother who attempted to put it out received a tongue lashing! Oh yeah, the good old days...
But, it is all good as they say. Nicholas is one of our favorite nephews who always stays in touch with us.

Ingredients
Preparation
Grate egg into bowl.
Blend cream cheese and mayonnaise together with egg.
Make sure cream cheese does not have large chunks in it.
Add onion salt to taste.
Place in refrigerator for a few hours before serving.
To date, Nicholas prepares this dip often. His active life style allows him to keep the pounds off and be able to eat large.
Chris and I however have to be mindful of our input, so you be the judge on how much to consume, but be aware, this dip is addicting as long as you do not have a sensitivity to eggs.
Tips
Serve at room temperature for maximum flavor.
Serve with rippled potato chips, crackers or raw vegetables such as carrots, celery, broccoli and cauliflower.
Mixture will taste better if prepared a few hours before serving.
Add milk to smooth out cream cheese first for a softer texture before adding mayonnaise.
If you want a thinner dip add more milk.
You can substitute the whipped cream cheese but do not use the fat free type as the taste will be different.
If your eggs don't peel easily, try this trick. Place the hard boiled egg in a large glass tumbler. Add a small amount of water.
Cover the top of the tumbler with your hand and shake the glass to crack the egg shell. The water will seep into the shell and loosen the egg from the shell then peel it off.
Make this appetizer to go along with your Dip.
Add another favorite snack that is hot and goes well with game day.
